If u want to install windows 8 on less ram then my opinion is Windows 8 Developer preview
Download it here {IT IS DIRECT DOWNLOAD!}
SO U HAVE THE ISO but u should have atleast 512 to run smooth.But ur pc will restasrt if u will run more than 4-5 application at a time
Now download the software called Windows 7 USB/DVD tool [dont go on its name , it is working for windows 8 well]{easily availaible on official microsoft site}
Now u need a usb of 4gb or more.
open the application
choose the iso file
select usb or dvd
over! Easy but u must do a clean install not an upgrade otherwise it will not work
